I am vegan. This has some great vegan recipes like the Bean Black Bean Soup but uses a lot of ingredients that I am trying to avoid like fake mayonnaise, oils, Earth Balance, sugar, etc. I highly recommend any of the HAPPY HERBIVORE vegan recipe books.
