Kate begins to find herself as she goes through the rigorous training at Quantico. She is still grieving for Marshall which affects her relationships with her fellow trainees. She has an intense need to be independent. These novels flow with a natural ease and grace. They are among the best I’ve...

Predictable, nothing fancy, a casual read. I skimmed to finish is a day. Surprised at the high ratings in Goodreads.
The writing is not boring and the story does hold your attention. The issue is that this is a tried and teated formula of fiction writing and there isn't any s...

This was a great story that was fairly well written, but the disconnect between the dependent clause beginnings of sentences and the main portion of the sentences got in the way too much of the time. Just catching up on this series. Wow, what a page turner. Kate doesn't do things the easy way! Besides struggling with her FBI training she is dragged into an actual investigation involving people trafficking. It was exciting stuff to say the least reading her juggle both. With a twist in the end...

This book was interesting from the start and was definitely worth the read. I liked the main character and wanted her to succeed. Although it wasn't an edge-of-your-seat read, it was definitely one that kept your interest. Now I want to read all the books in the series.

I enjoyed reading this book very much. It was a little slow at times, but got moving really fast about half way through. The case was solved but there's a little teaser at the end. Lots of attention is paid to Kate's training as a FBI agent.

A strong women thriller.
Kate was at the academy. She was excelling in the classroom but having trouble with her tacticals. SSA Scarborough asked her to assist with a case at the WFO in her. Spare time.

The story held my attention all the way through. Her struggles were so realistic and the training so rigorous. All the characters were multidimensional and believable. Don't miss reading this book - you're certain to enjoy it.
