Saltwater Kisses (The Kisses Series, #1) Read Online Free - When small-town girl Emma LaRue won a vacation to an exclusive tropical island, a last minute cancellation meant she would be going by herself. Shy and studious, she never had time to fall in love, and often wondered if she was just meant to be alone. However, that all changed when a handsome stranger literally walked into her life while on the beach and sparks began to fly.
New York's most eligible billionaire bachelor Jack Saunders thought this vacation would be the perfect escape, one last hurrah, before taking full control of his father's company. When an innocent Emma didn't recognize him, he figured that he might get a chance to have a vacation from being rich. He didn't tell her about the cars, the yacht, or the penthouse. All he did was let her fall in love with him.
Soon, Jack found that he was the one falling in love with Emma. When they enjoy a fantasy marriage ceremony on the beach, they thought it was a bit of harmless fun before returning to their normal lives. A bittersweet goodbye was supposed to be the end of their perfect vacation romance, but when photos of the ceremony were leaked to the press, everything changed.
Feeling lied to and thrust into a world of wealth and privilege, Emma must choose between following her dreams or following her heart. Will she be content at being nothing more than the billionaire's wife, or will she return to her normal life with only memories of saltwater kisses?

I purchased this book on my Kindle because it was free and I thought "why not?" It sounded like it could be a good little romance story. I finished it only because I finish every book I start. But I really shouldn't have. The story wasn't very developed and I didn't really buy into the supposed c...

I should probably give it 2.5 because it was a $2 audiobook, which is obviously a deal, but for me it was pretty much boring, drawn out, and implausible. It probably would've been more tolerable if we didn't have to listen to repeated scenes like descriptions of dipping fries into catsup and days...

3 Stars! 4 for the first half, 2 for the second!
Fun beginning and then it just got ridiculous. Emma was such a pushover she did whatever Jack's 'people' told her to do. Jack basically ignored her in the second half of the book, and had no backbone when it came to his parents, Emma handled them b...

Did a thirteen-year-old write this book? Honestly now.
The premise sounded nice and light and sweet, and the story starts off with promise. But from the moment Jack's, um, failure to even neatly dispose of a condom hit my Kindle, my WTF-face came out and never really went away. I'm not sure why I...

I hate giving a book one star but honestly there wasn't much choice. This book read like a first draft. The story was underdeveloped and sentence structures were awful. It read I went to the door. I grasped the door knob and I opened the door. Three I's in that and three doors. I don't even want...

I'm really wondering if I read a different book because this was one of the worst I read this year. Somehow I'm missing how others saw this as a 4 or 5.
The premise might have worked but the writing was sophomoric. I cringed wile reading some of the dialog. It was painful.

This was a really sweet and simple summer romance type of book. I wasn't quite sure exactly what to expect, but I really liked it.
It starts quick and it took a little time to catch up, but after that it was very smooth and enjoyable. I think the thing I liked the most is that it seemed really rea...

I am just not having much luck with the books I've been reading lately. This book started off well and for the brief period they were in the island it was actually kind if sweet. It's once they came back to the states that everything went awry.
*** spoiler alert ***
So okay, they get fake married,...

First reaction: What the hell? This book has a very abrupt ending. We get to the conflict aspect and one short line is all it takes to resolve this whole thing and bam! The book ends at 67%. This was a very unsatisfying and rushed ending.
This being free made it easy to take a chance on this. I th...
